Samsung launches Dual-SIM budget phone


Samsung has introduced its compact budget phone, which it has placed between its two popular models-  the Champ and the DUOS. This Dual-SIM phone is named ‘Samsung Champ Neo DUOS’. The mobile boasts a 2.4 inches display screen and all simple and useful features a person may need.


This model from the South Korean mobile giant, is a compact and cute mobile that brings touch convenience with its QVGA TFT LCD display. Housed in a compact and neat design with a full touch screen and enhanced connectivity, this mobile is always on to receive calls, access social networking sites, download apps, play music and do much more.


The model in pearl white with its rounded corners looks great and fits comfortably in your palm to let you operate the phone with one finger only.  This phone comes for Rs. 3,260.


The phone is 2G ready and users can access Facebook and Twitter to stay connected with their friends and families using these apps. There is a facility for instant messaging through MSN, Google Talk and Yahoo. You can also do ActiveSync with your email to keep in touch with the latest from your mailbox. The email is pushed to the phone as soon as it arrives, and users get a notification tone like in the DUOS model. There is a ChatON, which is a phone number-based instant messaging system, which also enables group chat, personalised messages, and contents sharing.


The phone is 2G ready and gives you access to thousands of apps on the Samsung app store. The phone could connect via Bluetooth and GPRS. The operating system in the phone is KIES and has the operating system Opera Mini browser.
