In a bid to strengthen SMB focus through managed security services, Trend Micro has signed on Nevales Networks as a managed security services partner (MSSP).
Trend Micro will offer services around its endpoint DLP, encryption and Worry Free Business Security (WFBS) solutions to SMB customers. Mumbai-based Nevales Networks offers cloud-based services to SMBs on a pay-as-you-use model.
“With cloud technology taking shape in India, we see an increased adoption of security from the cloud or security-as-a-service by customers, especially in the SMB segment,” said Baburaj Varma, Head, Technical Services, India and Saarc, Trend Micro.
Ravishankar, Co-Founder and CEO Nevales, said, “With Trend Micro’s portfolio of cloud-based security solutions including email, Web and desktop security-as-a-service added to our unified threat management services, this synergy will enable us to deliver best-of-breed security solutions to our customers.”
