“The cars will, at least initially, be imported from Asean markets, although assembly at the Hindustan Motor’s Chennai facility is likely at a later stage,” Ken Horniouchi, Mitsubishi’s executive officer and corporate general manager for Asia and Asean office was quoted in a release.
He said that the first step in that direction would be the introduction of the automatic version of its sports utility vehicle Pajero Sport.
