To give speed junkies and auto lovers a chance to test the limits of a sports car on flat tarmac, the German luxury carmaker has brought in a fleet of R8 V10s whose 5.2-litre petrol engine also powers sister concern’s Lamborghini.
The Audi Sportscar Experience was launched at the Buddh International Circuit on Thursday and will be open till December.
“Whether it is the cars, the format or the conduct, everything about the programme reflects what our brand stands for,” said Mr Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India.
Enthusiasts will also receive training from the company’s instructors on how to ride the powerful beast. The Audi Sportscar Experience is a two-phase programme — Audi racetrack experience and an advanced programme.
Globally, Audi offers such an experience in tracks at Barcelona, Nurburgring, Dubai, and Belgium.
