Facebook's App Center is now accessible in Australia.
Essentially an App Store for the mobile version of Facebook, it was launched in the US in June and allows third-party developers to charge money for their apps.
App Center can be accessed through Facebook's application on Apple iOS and Google Android devices.
There were more than 600 social apps available through the portal at the time of the June launch, including Nike+ Running and Draw Something, according to Facebook. However, it also said that only high quality apps, based on user ratings, will be listed.
App Center is now available in the US, Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa and the UK. Other countries will be added to the list in the coming months.
Facebook has included a localisation tool for the App Center to aid its global roll-out.
