Micromax has launched a 'green phone' X259 which comes with a solar panel that helps users charge their phone for free, using sun's rays.
As per Micromax, the phone automatically gets charged on exposure to sunlight.
The phone will specially be a boon for rural areas where powercuts are a commonplace.
The X259 features a 2.4 inch QVGA screen and an expandable storage upto 4GB.
It's got Bluetooth and an impressive audio and video player and FM radio with recording.
