After the success of the latest version of iPad, launched earlier this year, news media is abuzz that Apple Inc is all set to launch a new product in its September 12 event. And according to reports, the new launch is believed to be an all new redesigned iPhone.
Customary to Apple’s launch calendar, the company has maintained a fall release of its new smartphones, therefore, making it a point that the latest smartphone is made available across stores for the holiday season.
The iPhone, which is presumably going to make a fall appearance in its fifth version, is reportedly going to sport a sleeker and larger screen and a smaller dock connector.
Though the date September 12 is a rather tentative hint, technology investors and trend watchers claim that a September release is a sure happening on the Silicon Valley's calendar.
Apple’s closest competitor in the smartphone market, Samsung Electronics, recently launched its latest version of Galaxy device, further claiming the leadership position in terms of sales. Apple and Samsung together command more than 50% of market share in terms of global smartphone sales.
