Speaking to media persons in Kochi, Arun Malhotra, senior vice president, sales and customer care of the company, gave this information.
He said, "We have already launched three new vehicles and five more will follow this fiscal year. The three new vehicles to be brought out before the calendar year end are mini SUV (sports utility vehicle), Reva NXR, electric car and Rexton, a premium vehicle."
Kerala is a strong market for Verito, Malhotra said, adding "We grew by 41 percent during last fiscal in Kerala and sold 32,000 vehicles across all models in the state."
Mahindra has recently launched a new version of its sedan Verito in both petrol and diesel options, priced between Rs.5.27 lakh and Rs.7.14 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Verito is more expensive by Rs.7,000 to Rs.19,000 across different variants than earlier model.
