HTC M7 to be launched on Feb 19

It will come with high end features and specification.

HTC's quad core processor bearing super smartphone, M7 is set to be launched in London on February 19. Earlier, it was said to be launched during the Mobile World Congress event which is to kick start from February 23.

Italy based mobile phone reviewer and web marketing specialist, Flavio has claimed this citing 'credible sources'.

"HTC M7 is to be launched during a dedicated event on February 19th, probably in London, not at #MWC13," Flavio said in a post on his Twitter account.

The HTC M7 is expected to feature a full 1080p HD resolution bearing display and has design inspired form HTC 8X smartphone with a similar looking matte finish rear. The HTC M7 is also expected to feature 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon mobile processor with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB on-board storage, something similar to the specifications featured on the recently unveiled HTC Butterfly.

HTC's overhauled Sense UI 5.0 will be there on the device to keep the user experience simple and clean. There have been changes in the user interface starting with the lock screen where the ring gesture seems to have been removed. But the flip clock and other functionalities seem to be intact with improvements done to them.

Along with that HTC is also expected to equip this device with a 13 megapixel camera at the back and a high definition front facing camera too. For operating system, the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 seems to be the appropriate candidate but more light will only be shed once official news about the device makes way from the company.
