Official: 2013 Fiat Linea T-Jet to be launched on June 10

2013 Linea T-jet will come with a few nips & tucks; and will team up with 'Superman: Man of steel' for promotions.
In an official mail from Fiat this morning, we learn that the updated, 2013 Linea T-jet will be launched in India on June 10, 2013.

The car will be launched in Mumbai this Monday and we expect similar launch functions to happen in other metros as well. Fiat is also tying up with the upcoming action-hero flick, ‘Man of Steel’ (or ‘Superman’ for the unaware) for its promotional activities. The movie is slated to release in India on June 16, though.

We also learn that the communication tag-line for the 2013 Linea T-jet will be ‘Power to make the move’. But don’t expect any significant changes to the mechanicals. The car will continue to use the potent 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which puts out 114 PS of power and 207 Nm of torque. The car will also come with the 16-inch alloys and the 205-section rubber, which contributed to making it one of the best handling cars out there.

In exclusive information shared with OnCars, sources close to Fiat confirm that the 2013 Linea T-jet will come with refreshed interiors and will introduce a new, pearl white shade for the exteriors. The shade of gold, which was the communication colour for the older T-jet, has been discontinued altogether.

Stay tuned to OnCars as we bring you more information about the Linea T-jet from its launch on June 10, 2012.
