Nokia is working on a mini-version of its six-inch phablet the Lumia 1520, according to the latest leaks around the product. According to GSMArena, the Nokia Lumia 1520 mini is expected to be launched in April and will have a 4.45-inch screen.
The report says the leaked images show that Nokia Lumia 1520 mini or 1520v will have a 4.45” display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels and a 2,370mAh battery. The camera of the Lumia 1520 mini is expected to be a 14MP unit, according to the report.
Images of the device were leaked on Weibo, China’s version of Twitter, as well. The smartphone could also be launched at Nokia’s press event at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
If Nokia does launch a Lumia 1520 mini it will most likely compete with an iPhone, although it will have a bigger screen. The original Lumia 1520 was Nokia’s first phablet and has a full HD screen, along with a 2.2 Ghz Snapdragon 800 processor. It was the first Windows Phone 8 device with full HD and a quad-core processor.
