An Indian boy, by the name of Rajesh Adhikari, of Nainital, Uttarakhand has developed a shoe that charges a mobile phone as you walk. The idea first struck him when he noticed the problems that the citizens of Nainital had to face due to the heavy snowfalls that were constantly occurring in his hometown. These snowfalls led to widespread power cuts in the city for long hours. Apparently, it was these circumstances that inspired him to create a waterproof charger for such situations. This inspiration led to the development of a shoe cum mobile charger.
When it comes to the new HTC One M8, the smartphone has seen too many leaks. From comprehensive hands-on videos to GSMArena releasing the complete specs of the device along with sales guide that explains the key features of the new device, it hasn’t been an easy time for HTC to plug the leaks.
The latest leak is in the form of long 14 minutes video which shows a detailed hands-on with new smartphone. The video is in German though, and unless you speak German the only thing you will understand is HTC One, Snapdragon and Qualcomm.
As far as the specs of the smartphone are concerned, the HTC One (2014) will feature a 5-inch 1080p display. The device’s dimensions are 146.36 x 70.6 x 9.35 mm. Under the hood, it comes powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz. The smartphone will come equipped with a nano SIM. On the storage front, expect 16GB of onboard storage and a micro SD card slot that supports up to 16GB memory.
There is no word on the camera resolution yet, the rest of the camera features appear to be same including 1/3.0-inch size, f/2.0 aperture and 2µm pixel size. The video capture is said to be 1080p, and not not 4K. One can also expect a 5MP front-facing camera, says the report. The All New HTC One will be fuelled by a 2,600 mAh battery.
One of the key features of the HTC One will be the dual cameras on the back, which will allow users to refocus an image after it has been taken to either put the focus on the background or foreground. HTC has also added some new accessibility features such as auto-answer for incoming calls. HTC’s signature BoomSound speakers will also make a reappearance.
