Vodafone reduces 3G 

tariffs by upto 80% 



These data plans start from Rs 25 for 25 MB data usage and go up to Rs 1599 for 12 GB of data usage.


Vodafone has slashed its 3G data tariffs by up to 80 per cent for its customers in India. These data plans start from Rs 25 for 25 MB data usage and go up to Rs 1,599 for 12 GB of data usage. For any usage beyond the stipulated data usage on each plan, the customers will be charged at the rate of 2 paisa per 10 KB.


The Pay As You Go rate for prepaid customers has also been slashed to 2 paisa per 10 KB. Additionally, Vodafone will now allow its customers to use data from their bundle package while on roaming across any location in India without any additional charge.


The cheapest 3G data pack available from Vodafone is for Rs 25 which has a validity of one day and will provide 25 MB of data. There is also, Rs 45 and Rs 100 plan that provides 150 MB and 300 MB of data with 7 and 30 days of validity respectively.


Apart from that another plan for Rs 200, one can get 500 MB of data for 30 days, while Rs 250 will provide 1 GB of data for 30 days. Also, now Vodafone offers 1.5 GB data for Rs 375, 2 GB data for Rs 450, 3GB for Rs 650, 4 GB for Rs 750, 5 GB for Rs 850, 8 GB for Rs 1,250, 10 GB for Rs 1,500, and 12 GB for Rs 1,599 - all these comes with 30 days of validity period.
