Zen Mobile unveils UltraTab A100 at Rs. 6199



Telecom Lead India: Zen Mobile, a brand of Teleecare Group, has launched a new Android 4.0 ICS tablet called UltraTab A100 at Rs. 6199.


The tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and weighs 295 grams with 7 inch screen size. The official release claims that the 2800 mAh battery gives 14hrs + Web usage (on WiFi) or 3.5h hours of 720p video playback.


Zen's Ultratab A100 user experience is designed with a Live Panel menu users can customize to display a variety of content on the home screen including digital pictures, favorite Web sites and social network feeds.


The company has associated with Homeshop18, a virtual retail business, to introduce the product in the market at a special price.


"Powered with the latest Android 4.0.3 operating system, Ultratab - A100 is built to appeal to a cross section of users which varies from avid gamers, busy professionals, thrill-seeking youngsters or even the multi-tasking homemakers; it's an ultimate on-the-go- entertainment hub to bring welcome change to their busy life," said DeepeshGupta, managing director  at Zen Mobile.


Zen Ultratab A100 is Wi-Fi enabled and comes with eBook Reader, Youtube and more preloaded apps. Equipped with an expandable memory of 32 GB, the tablet comes preloaded with movies such as "Zindagi Na MilegiDobara".


Speaking on the partnership, DhruvaChandrie, COO and Business Head-TV, HomeShop18 said, "HomeShop18 is glad to partner exclusively with Zen for the launch of its innovative fully loaded tablet, the A100 Ultra. As India's largest home shopping company, we will offer this tablet to consumers across India through our various platforms before any other distributor or retailer."


The Zen's Ultra Tab A100 features a 1.3MP front camera and Flash playback for a rich entertainment experience. It also supports Flash 10 and HTML 5.
