Google Fiber has officially been unveiled in Kansas City. But many details about it including details about pricing still remain hazy.

The internet scenario in the U.S. is undergoing a crucial change. Google’s much-frenzied Fiber ultra-speed internet has finally come to reality. In a few months, Google Fiber will go active in several cities. Of now, it is about to get going in Kansas City on an experimental basis. Well, internet users from many other U.S cities will soon be able to enjoy internet at 1000Mb speed per second. Google Fiber promises 100% faster internet speed than the regular broadband connections. For sure, Google’s foray into fiber line-channeled internet connectivity will bring about a revolution in speed and stability. Here are some essential facts you should know about Google Fiber.

Beginning: To begin Google Fiber services in a community, there should be at least fifty residents as members. A member has to pay $10 as deposit to register their household for the service. On its official site for Fiber, Google demands more residents in Kansas City join the service. Thus, it can provide the ultra-speed internet connectivity to more customers. The first service area contains central Kansas City, Missouri and the entire city of Kansas City, Kansas.

Highly fit for video streaming: Video streaming requires increased bandwidth. For spotless and clear watching experience, users are requested to have perfect internet connectivity. Google Fiber high speed internet is extremely suitable for video streaming services. Indeed, users can enjoy many live channels and video clips on YouTube, Netflix, Hulu and others. Thanks to ideal internet speed, digital content can be watched with great quality, of course.

Special business packages: Google has hinted that it wishes to roll out some business plans for Google Fiber. The company, however, has not divulged more details about the project. Indeed, we can expect special business plans and offers for Fiber internet connectivity. Businesses can beyond any doubt boost their revenues in help of faster internet.

Google Fiber TV: Google has guaranteed to start on an innovative TV service along with internet connection through its Fiber lines. As we can assume, Fiber TV refers to high clarity television transmission. Google is optimistic that the Fiber TV will change the way Americans used to watch channels. The package will list popular networks owned by leading media companies such as NBC Universal, Viacom Inc., Discovery Communications and more. However, the service does miss leading TV networks like News Corp’s Fox cable channels; TNT, TBS, Time Warner networks like CNN, ESPN, Disney and others.

Installation fee: Google will charge $300 as installation fee from a customer. The company says that consumers should take it as a cost for “home improvement.” Of course, installation fee will not be a burden for people, since they are to get internet in a blazing speed.

Nexus 7 with Google TV app free: Early costumers of Google Fiber are offered with its Nexus 7 tablet with Google TV app. The machine will bring internet with unparallel speed and stability. Nexus 7 is Google’s official Android tablet, which is built by Asus and it runs on the recent Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The gadget is ideal for watching digital content as Google has developed this for data consumption.
