Intex has announced the launch of i-Buddy Connect 3G tablet today in the Indian market. The tablet succeeds the company’s previously launched i-Buddy Connect tablet. According to a press release issued by the company, i-Buddy Connect has been priced at INR 9,999 and will be available in the coming days.
Intex i-Buddy Connect 3G features 7-inch display and is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor. The tablet also comes with 1GB of RAM and 3,500 mAh battery.
“Further to our promise of continually bringing innovation to our customers at an affordable price, this is our latest offering for the urban and semi-urban youth. Aesthetically designed, i-Buddy Connect 3G aims to provide entertainment and education to our customers, considering a huge portion of them are high users of internet,” said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, General Manager- Mobile Business, Intex Technologies.
Intex notes that i-Buddy Connect 3G will come pre-loaded with Educlass application, which provides NCERT text books for classes 1st to 12th, as well as a repository of question banks and interactive content for various subjects.
