HTC One officially launched in India at Rs. 42,900


HTC has finally launched its much awaited smartphone officially in India. The device is priced at Rs 42,900.


HTC which launched the device globally in April delayed its launch across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific including India due to shortage of several key components.


It sports a 4.7”, Full HD (1080p) screen and features the latest Android Jelly Bean operating system and LTE network technology to offer blazingly-fast browsing. It would be available in silver and beautiful black.


It is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor along with 2GB of RAM. As far as the connectivity is concerned it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, Infrared and Micro-USB options.


The HTC One which is likely to face stiff competition from Galaxy S4 smartphone seems to be company’s last hope to expand its market share.


New HTC One was presented with the GSMA award for the best new mobile handset, device or tablet. The device has HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe and HTC BoomSound, key new HTC Sense innovations that reinvent the mobile experience and set a new standard for smartphones.


The company has also joined hands with Reliance communications for bundled a data and content pack from. Every Reliance GSM subscriber would be able to avail 1GB of 3G data free for 3 months along with free sharing of unlimited text, music, pictures and videos through WhatsApp and Facebook for 3 months.
