The 550Q runs rather older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It comes with an 8-megapixel rear shooter with BSI sensor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera is also capable of recording videos in 1080p resolution. The device claims to be uber-portable with its 3mm bezel.
On the storage front, it packs 4GB onboard storage, expandable up to 32GB. All of this is fuelled by a 2,600mAh battery that promises 10 hours of talktime on 2G.
The Lava Iris 550Q will be available across national retail chain stores, multi-brand outlets and online stores starting this month.
